About Us

Back in 2013 when our then 1 year olds were at home with us and we were desperate for a safe place to take both our little ones and nannies to learn and connect, allowing us a quick break to get the necessary shopping and admin arramged. We tried sending them to the usual mommy and toddler classes but our nannies felt disconnected to the other mummies and activities were enjoyed but not explained as to the reason why the children were performing them. And this is how Nurturing Nannies was started, a safe place where nannies could relate and connect with one another, not only enjoying age-related activities but understanding the reason why it was so improtant to expose children to a multitude of sensory games, language exposure and development, easy art and baking activities, fine and gross motor activities and their benefits and a whole lot more!  We started with our two children and nannies in Bryanston and grew to Hyde Park and beyond. Nurturing Nannies has a special place in our hearts because we get to spend mornings together with the most wonderful ladies and children.
